EIGHTEENTH CENTURY DANCE IN SUMMER
IN THE BEAUTIFUL FRAME OF THE AOSTA VALLEY
A DANCE TO DREAM, LIKE IN FAIRY TALES
The Italian Company of Theater and Dance, based in Rome, but operating throughout the national territory, proposed in the Aosta Valley, in the summer of 2019, a nineteenth-century style dance day, including Waltzes, Quadrilles, Contraddances, Polke, Polonaise, Mazurke…. Ladies with crinolines, lace, sumptuous dresses … Knights in tails.
Palaces and Castles of the time.
MAGICAL ATMOSPHERES, BACK IN TIME
The Italian Company of Theater and Dance has organized over the years Balls and Shows in exceptional locations such as:
• Palazzo Ducale, Genoa
• Royal Palace of Caserta
• Villa Crawford, Sorrento
• Castello d’Albertis, Genoa
• Palazzo Berzieri and Palazzo dei Congressi, Salsomaggiore Terme
• Royal Castle of Sarre
• Villa Brignole Sale, Palazzo della Borsa, Palazzo della Meridiana, Genoa
• Royal Palace, Genoa
• Portici Palace
• Busseto, Verdi Festival
Normally in our Parties / Shows we combine performances with moments of involvement of the public, serious and professional moments to moments of conviviality where toast and taste refined dishes.
In this emergency period we have decided to eliminate the involvement of the public and only perform the dancers’ performances, with a reduced number of couples, in order to avoid create aggregation, without losing the beauty of the evening.
We propose a similar project to be carried out in the locations you prefer, recreating an afternoon or evening of dancing with the presence of a number between 10 and 20 pairs of dancers, depending on the space and availability.
The Company , as a non-profit association, requires for the realization of the project the presence of an amplification system (we as a company have a cash desk that we could eventually make available), a space to change and a reimbursement of expenses which, however, can be decided and agreed based on availability and needs.
At the base our intent is to bring and disseminate an art form, that of dance and theater in a form of celebration and entertainment, also coloring the Christmas period with a touch of magic and dreams!
