Villa Apolloni – Frascati (RM)

With the hope that we can soon return to being together and celebrating without too many restrictions, we had already thought, for the arrival of 2021, of an end-of-year dance evening in Frascati, near Rome, in the beautiful Villa Apolloni.
Unfortunately, the event was not feasible, but we hope to be able to propose it again for next year, with even more serenity and desire to celebrate!
Here is an example of a nineteenth-century style New Year’s Ball, including Waltzes, Quadrilles, Contraddances, Polke, Mazurke, Polonaise…. Accompanied by dinner served at the table, curated by Manicaretto Cuochi a Domicilio.
THE LOCATION – VILLA APOLLONI
Known as “Primo Casino Pescatore”, so called by the first owner
Pietro Pescatore, great patron of Antwerp, who had it built in 1500, is embellished on the second floor by a wonderful vault frescoed by two painters Flemings: Cornelis Schut and Timan Craft.
The Villa was probably finished, as the ancient guides of Frascati say, by Domenico Zampieri, known as Domenichino.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To participate, you must book by a date that we will communicate well in advance.
The event will be limited and open only to members of the Italian Theater and Dance Company. Therefore, those who are not associated must first subscribe to the same.

DRESS CODE
The “New Year’s Grand Ball” evening is in the style of 1820/1860.
It will see the alternation of historical dances from the early 19th century to the end of the century.
However, non-dancers are also allowed to participate in the evening, strictly with evening dresses.
For those who do not have one and want to catapult themselves into an atmosphere back in time for an evening, we provide to rent or to create to measure.
Our reference Atelier is Atelier Bogetti.
